One month on, it's time to take stock of the start of the 2019 school year.
And it's largely positive for our beloved school! First of all, in line with the results of the competitive entrance exam, 1,000 new ESSCA students joined us in the first year( 5-yearGrande Ecole program ), with "international" recruits accounting for 10% of this new intake (up sharply on last year).
The same positive trend can be seen in the Bachelor's program (3 years), with 186 new entrants in 1st year (+12%). Taking all courses together (excluding continuing education and specialized masters), a total of 5,054 students now attend one of ESSCA's 8 campuses.
And quantity does not take precedence over quality, since the selection criteria for entry have been significantly tightened, as have those for progression to the next year, in line with the stated objective of increasing the number of students.s new CEO Jean Charroin's stated aim of making ESSCA one of France's top 10 schools in the short term.
