"100 start-ups to invest in" 2025: call for entries by February 3

If you're looking for funding to help your start-up grow, don't hesitate: apply to be one of the "100 start-ups to invest in".

On March 27, for the sixteenth year running, Challenges will publish its selection of the "100 start-ups to invest in". A reference dossier, read by all professionals in the ecosystem.

Check that you meet the application criteria:

  • be headquartered in France
  • be less than 4 years old (as of March 1, 2025)
  • generate sales (except biotech, deeptech and future industry)
  • not have been included in previous editions of the Challenges 100 start-ups (including under a different name)
  • be looking to raise funds within the next 12 months
  • be independent and not a subsidiary of a large group

This year's categories are as follows:

  • Medtech & Biotech
  • Fintech
  • Software
  • Digital Services & eCommerce
  • Greentech & Impact
  • Deeptech & Industry of the future

If you're looking to raise funds, register by February 3, 23:59, by filling out this online form.

Selected start-ups will be featured in ChallengeS' annual "100 start-ups to invest in" 2025 edition.

What's more, a panel of professional investors and Challenges journalists will select "favorites" from among them, one for each sector, who will be invited to take part in a live, public pitch competition. The panel will then deliberate to select the start-up of the year, winner of the Patrick Fauconnier Prize.
