After 17 years with ESSCA, Samir Ayoub has decided to take on a new challenge by taking on the General Management of a Marseille-based school. He has just handed over the management of the Aix-en-Provence Campus to Claire Bourgeois, to whom we extend a warm welcome.

We'd like to take this opportunity to look back at her career at the school. With a PhD in Management Sciences from Panthéonô-Assas University, he joined the school in 2007 as a research professor. He was appointed Head of PGE in 2010, before becoming Academic Director in charge of degree programs in 2016.

On Catherine Le Blanc's retirement in 2017, he briefly became General Manager of the group, then took charge of the development of the brand-new Aix en Provence Campus.

In this way, he has boosted the most distant site from the "parent company", which now recruits over 90% of its students from the PACA region. Unknown 7 years ago in the economic fabric of metropolitan Marseille, ESSCA has now forged a name for itself and a solid reputation under his leadership.

He recently launched work on the brand-new Aix-en-Provence campus, which by the start of the 2025 academic year will bring together all the school's courses on a single site. A beautiful, modern teaching facility, conveniently located and poised to become one of ESSCA's flagships.

Many thanks again for all your hard work.

NDLR: on a personal note, I'll always remember the warm welcome he gave me when I took up my post in 2017, and I'd like to thank him for initiating the network's links with students. I wish him every success in his new challenge.
