His background

After graduating from ESSCA in 1995, Stéphane Berton began his career in trade-marketing at Carrefour, before discovering the world of licensing and merchandising at Warner.
then discovered the world of licensing and merchandising at Warner.

After 10 years' experience, he embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure in merchandising consulting in Martinique, where he spent 6 years working for brands and retailers.

Returning to mainland France in 2015, he took charge of development at CoSpirit MediaTrack, an operational marketing and media consultancy specializing in retail. He now holds a senior consulting position.

In 2020, Stéphane, a network man with a passion for people, gave a new direction to his career and joined the HR consultancy Lapérouse, then TASTE.

His knowledge of the various business professions, his business culture and his interest in people have enabled him to advise his customers in the search for their executive teams and business experts, as well as assisting numerous profiles in their professional transition periods.

His long-standing commitment to ESSCA Alumni

"Involved in the life of the school for around ten years as a jury member for the eligibility orals, I have been committed to the Essca Alumni association by creating and leading the Retail & Grande Conso Club since 2019.

I then joined the Board of Directors in 2021 to contribute more actively to the life of the association. At the same time, I organized the 25th anniversary of my graduating class (95) in 2021.

The evening, organized with the efficient support of Delphine de Ghellinck, brought together 120 alumni who have since kept in touch via a Whatsapp group that now boasts over 150 members (out of the 200 in the class).

As a committed community organizer, a creator of links and a man of common sense, it seemed obvious to me to put forward my candidacy for the position of director of the association, to ensure a period of transition with Patrick, who will soon be able to move on to a new phase in his life.

My mission is to continue developing the association's services, the foundations of which were laid by Patrick Bouillet and his team, by pursuing the roadmap of the strategic plan set by the Board of Directors, with 3 priority issues: students and young graduates, entrepreneurship and the Foundation.

Essca is for life, the proof 😉"
