A successful entrepreneurial marathon!

As part of its support for entrepreneurship and the "Young" axis of the association's development, ESSCA Alumni was physically present at the latest Entrepreneurial Marathon, which took place over 2 days in Aix en Provence, on the ENSAM premises, on December 5.

Together with ESSCA, ENSAM organized an entrepreneurial marathon in Aixaimed at mobilizing 𝐥'𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞́𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞́ 𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐞́𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐭 𝐞́𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞́𝐟𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐥'𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞̀𝐧𝐞.
This event enabled our students to put their innovation skills into practice and collaborate with major industrial partners such as Alstom, EDF and VINCI Energies, as well as with alumni and students from different backgrounds.

Two key stages:

✅ INNODay on September 19, where students worked in Design Thinking mode to imagine how to engage users in adopting hydrogen.
✅ JITCAM on December 5, a hackathon where received ideas from the INNODay were transformed into concrete projects during a pitch competition.

More than 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐞́𝐥𝐞̀𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐝'𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐂𝐀 𝐞𝐭 𝐝'𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐞́𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, divided into 𝟏𝟑 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐬, took part in this event.

This edition was the 6th "JITCAM" on the ENSAM side and the 4th "Hackathon" on the ESSCA side, and the second "joint" edition.

Accompanying this event, from the first opus in 2018, ESSCA Alumni awarded €2,000 in gift vouchers to the 8 members of the winning team (4 ESSCA and 4 ENSAM). A big thank you to the entire organizing team and a special "big up" to Gael Bertrand, a teacher-researcher dedicated to entrepreneurship in Aix, who was at the helm on the ESSCA side for the success of this event.

Well done to all the teams who have rallied to meet the challenge of low-carbon energy... perhaps we've seen the birth of a unicorn... time will tell.
