Meet Nathan Assouline, 3ᵉ year student and co-founder of Sunver: the tech and AI solution serving the hotel industry.

Thanks to its programs and incubator, ESSCA trains and supports a new generation of entrepreneurs ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow. Among them is third-year student Nathan Assouline, co-founder of Sunver, a solution that reinvents the Room Directory for tourist establishments. With Sunver, Nathan and his brother Yohann are transforming the traditional welcome booklet into a digital, intuitive and eco-responsible solution, adapted to the expectations of today and tomorrow.

Sunver: a solution born of ecological awareness and market need

The idea for Sunver was born during a hotel stay, when Nathan and Yohann were struck by the waste of paper associated with traditional welcome booklets. They came up with an alternative: a digital room directory, combining efficiency and respect for the environment. This observation, combined with Nathan's knowledge and network at ESSCA, led them to develop Sunver, with the ambition of making hospitality in tourist establishments simpler, more practical and more sustainable.

By co-founding Sunver, the two brothers are responding to the challenges of an industry where customer expectations and ecological constraints are increasingly pressing. By replacing paper documents with an intuitive application, Sunver simplifies communication and services, while aligning establishments with eco-responsible standards for paper reduction and digitalization.

What is a digital Room Directory?

A digital Room Directory or Guest App is a digital, interactive version of the traditional paper welcome booklet found in hotel rooms.

Accessible from a smartphone, tablet or computer via a QR code, it provides guests with all essential information: hotel services, local recommendations, activities, restaurants and much more. The tool thus becomes a dynamic, customizable information center, enabling guests to interact directly with the establishment and enjoy an enriched stay without constant solicitation of the front desk.

The key role of Incub'ESSCA: a springboard for Sunver

Incub'ESSCA's support has been a real springboard for Nathan and Yohann in the development of Sunver. Right from the start of their project, they were able to benefit from the strategic and practical support of the ESSCA incubator, which provides essential resources for entrepreneurs: specialized workshops, mentoring and personalized follow-up.

For Nathan, Incub'ESSCA is much more than an incubator. It's a place for meeting, sharing and exchanging ideas, where ideas are transformed into concrete action. This support has enabled the Assouline brothers to structure their business model, refine their product and implement a growth strategy tailored to the challenges of today's hotel industry. "Incub'ESSCA is a place where students, whether at the very beginning of their project or more advanced, can find a supportive ecosystem that makes the entrepreneurial path more accessible," Nathan emphasizes.

A fast-growing solution: dozens of sites in over 6 countries

Today, Sunver is already in operation in dozens of establishments across more than six countries, proving its adaptability and usefulness. Hotels, campsites, tourist residences and even Airbnbs use Sunver to offer a more modern and eco-responsible customer experience. The solution is designed to be set up in less than 15 minutes, and requires no technical expertise.

Sunver's interface is infinitely customizable: hoteliers can tailor their Room Directory to their image, with specific colors, logos, photos and information. Thanks to artificial intelligence features, the integrated chatbot answers frequent guest questions, allowing staff to focus on more strategic tasks. "Sunver is designed to be intuitive and quick to set up, because we know that hoteliers need practical, reliable solutions," says Nathan.

The ambition of Nathan and his team doesn't stop there: their goal is to extend Sunver to hundreds, if not thousands, of establishments in the years to come, to make this solution a must-have in the sector.

A sustainable, innovative vision for the hotel industry of tomorrow

In addition to responding to the growing need for digitalization in the hotel industry, Sunver is committed to an eco-responsible approach by replacing paper media with a digital solution. This CSR commitment is part of Sunver's philosophy, which is to actively contribute to the hotel industry's ecological transition. Establishments can now reduce their carbon footprint by simplifying their welcome and optimizing resources, an argument that resonates particularly well in a sector that is increasingly concerned about its environmental impact.

With a committed team and a constantly evolving product, Sunver doesn't just modernize hotel hospitality; it redefines the standards of more respectful, sustainable hospitality.

A call to ESSCA alumni: building the future of hospitality together

Nathan Assouline, like many other young ESSCA entrepreneurs, knows just how essential the support of a community is in driving forward an ambitious project. The ESSCA alumni community is rich in diverse profiles and experience, offering a wealth of perspectives and invaluable mutual support.

Nathan invites all alumni, whatever their sector, to discover Sunver and exchange ideas with him. He also appeals to alumni from the hospitality and tourism sectors, or anyone who can share their expertise or build bridges within the industry. The advice, feedback and connections of the ESSCA community can be decisive in propelling Sunver towards its next goals.

Sunver, the embodiment of ESSCA's spirit of innovation and solidarity

By co-founding Sunver with the support of Incub'ESSCA, Nathan Assouline perfectly illustrates the ESSCA spirit: an ambition to innovate while taking into account the major challenges facing society. Sunver is a response to the modern expectations of travelers and the ecological needs of establishments, and embodies the entrepreneurial spirit that ESSCA values and supports.

Today, Nathan and his team are determined to continue their expansion, to meet the new challenges of the sector and to continue collaborating with the ESSCA community. This adventure, enriched by the values of innovation, solidarity and responsibility, has only just begun, and every contact and every support can play a vital role in its success!

To find out more about Sunver and its innovations, ESSCA alumni, partners and interested parties are invited to get in touch with Nathan Assouline and discover how this solution could well transform hospitality in thousands of tourist establishments in Europe and beyond.
