Back to school 2024: a good vintage!
The start of the 2024 academic year was held on August 26 for 1A PGE students on all ESSCA campuses.
It was also an opportunity to welcome our future classmates and to introduce some of our recent graduates to the big house. The first week of the year was traditionally devoted to integration and humanitarian projects. More on these in a future article.
The start of classes for the other years and courses will run until September 25. It should be noted that for the Audit Expertise stream, the end of the vacations was already on August 20!
ESSCA continues to grow
Following on from the excellent results of the competitive entrance exams, the start of the 2024 academic year will be particularly qualitative. The number of students has risen slightly, but the admission criteria have been tightened, which is good news for the future.
Initial figures are as follows (subject to change):
- Total enrolment: 7180
- PGE: 5,550 including 1,206 in 1A
- Bachelor's: 1,335 including 556 in 1A (very good growth for the Bachelor's +25% in view of its excellent rankings)
- Msc: 132
with a budget of almost 88 m€ and over 450 permanent staff, including 200 teacher-researchers (1st faculty in France!), our beloved school is more than ever among the "grandes", and its Post Bac model (the international standard) is attracting more and more students.
The multi-campus strategy is proving its worth, with continued strong growth at the Lyon, Bordeaux and Aix campuses. The smaller campuses are making inroads with very encouraging growth figures, even if the competition is tough, especially in Budapest.
The school is increasingly integrating alumni into its activities, and vice versa. We are delighted to host more and more student events on our platform.
On their initiative, they are inviting us alumni to take part in 2 emblematic events:
- The Baugas Festival, September 28 and 29
- The 73rd Mercuriale on October 20
to be found in our diary.
