Julien d'Amecourt graduated from ESSCA in 1994.

A company founder and manager for over 25 years, he has developed extensive expertise in managing multi-disciplinary and international teams.

Its area of excellence is bags, tote bags and other low-impact or recycled fabric containers.

Today, he presents the new challenge he's taking up with Waste2Wear: customizable bags and tote-bags made entirely from recycled plastics. EDITOR'S NOTE

Waste2Wear's mission is to reduce plastic pollution and Co2 emissions through the development of sustainable solutions.

Waste2Wear produces materials (yarns, fabrics) and finished products (reusable bags, tote bags, pouches, kits, backpacks, clothing, caps, etc.), all made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles (RPET) and recycled polypropylene (RPP).

RPP materials come from discarded household appliances, such as refrigerators, and used food containers.

The systematic integration of blockchain in our chain enables us to trace the entire journey of plastic waste through to the creation of sustainable products.

Each bag features a QR code that gives access to an environmental impact report for each production cycle, as well as a video showing how plastic waste is transformed into durable, long-lasting products.

The QR code is also a great opportunity to create a link with the consumer/user of the product.
