A new website for ESSCA
Pascale Moreau: ESSCA Communications Director
As you may have noticed, the Communications Department launched ESSCA's new website a few days ago. 2 years ago, we launched a vast redesign project in the spirit of a "portal site" with a development agency selected after a call for tenders.
Based on a collaborative methodology, the work was organized around a restricted COPIL (Pascale Moreau, Marguerite Moulin and an external consultant project manager) and the constitution of a monthly COPIL of 15 members representing all ESSCA activities. Workshops and meetings with ESSCA staff completed the process, as did consultation and testing phases with external stakeholders.
You can discover the new look of the ESSCA Group web portal on essca.eu
This new domain name has been chosen in line with ESSCA's European positioning and to reinforce the brand's international influence.
Access to ESSCA Alumni and CAPESSCA websites is always from the home page, from the Header for ESSCA Alumni, and as "Quick Access" in the Footer for CAPESSCA. In this way, your sites are always visible and accessible on all pages, whatever the user's path.
www.essca.eu was designed based on the OPQUAST web quality standard, which includes 200 rules to be respected. Designed for all ESSCA's target audiences and adapted to the international market, it is a high-performance technical tool for "mobile first", with major evolutions such as worldwide download speeds. Today, it fully reveals the graphic charter redesigned for 2022, and affirms ESSCA's identity with a more modern image. The new site is optimized for search engine optimization, with a dedicated service provider involved in the entire project. 6,500 pages were redirected from the old site to the new one, for which 250 new pages were created in French and English.
Placing the User Experience at the heart of its approach, www.essca.eu is an eco-designed site accessible to the widest possible audience. It meets today's security requirements.
More than 100 employees were involved throughout the project. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their time, thoughts and contributions. I would particularly like to congratulate Marguerite Moulin, Head of External Communications, for her commitment and endurance, Perrine Caurette, appointed Content Manager last February, and finally, all the members of the Communications Department for their attention and availability in the creation of this new site.
We look forward to hearing your opinions and suggestions on this new medium. Perrine Caurette, site administrator, is continuing to work with the teams in the various departments to update the site and highlight all ESSCA's strengths and successes.
