In jest, we're used to saying that ESSCA leads to everything as long as you get out...

The "Parcours Atypique" category honors ESSCA graduates whose current professions are far removed from what you might expect from a business school. Actor, artist, midwife and winemaker, the 2024 list in the "Atypical" category once again highlights some inspiring career paths.

The 4 2024 nominees for the CSR Prize are :

Quitterie Cauwe (01)

Liberal midwife

After graduating from ESSCA in 2012, Quitterie Cauwe began her professional career as Marketing Coordinator at Club Med.

She continued her career as a consultant with TASTE, an independent recruitment consultancy. Quitterie Cauwe then joined Inter Conseil : Traveco group as Recruitment Manager for 2 years.

Alongside her first professional experiences, Quitterie Cauwe continued her studies and obtained a state diploma in midwifery from the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, in 2020.

Her first experience as a midwife came during her studies at Hôpital Foch, where she practiced from 2015 to 2020.

She then worked at Hospices Civils de Lyon from 2021 to 2022, then at Centre Hospitalier de Givors from 2022 to 2023.

Pauline Lair (09)

Winemaker

1006 le Chai Urbain de Loire

Pauline Lair graduated from ESSCA in 2009 with a Master's degree in consumer goods marketing, followed by a Master's degree in wine and spirits management from KEDGE Business School in 2011.

His professional experience began with internships such as Cellar Door Assistant at Langlois Chateau in 2006 and Marketing and Communications Assistant at Bucher Vaslin Sudamerica in Chile in 2009.

She then worked in export sales at L.D.Vins, before taking up the position of Marketing and Sales Manager at Valdronne.

She then became International Brand Manager at Castel, where she oversaw marketing strategies for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the Castel group's aromatized and sparkling wine product ranges.

Pauline Lair gained further experience in the wine industry. She first became a vineyard and cellar worker at Seresin Estate in New Zealand, then an apprentice winemaker at Mélaric in France.

More recently, she specialized as Operations Manager at Domaine du Closel in Savennières, where she oversees production, sales and administration.

Pauline Lair is also founder and manager of 1006 - Le Chai Urbain de Loire.

Located in Angers, it vinifies Loire white and red wines naturally.



Hubert Myon (01)

Actor

After graduating from ESSCA in 2001, Hubert Myon worked for 2 years as a sales coordinator for LVMH, then for 8 years as a marketing research analyst for the M6 group.

He then went on to become a mediator and conflict management and negotiation trainer at Alternego, a consulting and training firm.

For over 7 years, he worked as a trainer and coach at the Center for Training and Development of Journalists (CFPJ).

An actor from an early age, Hubert Myon also began studying theater atOlivier Merle 's class in Versailles, and joined the school's troupe to perform on stage. Taking his first steps in Jean Anouilh's L'Alouette, he pursued his theater projects with sketch shows such as Le serment des hypocrites and Génération Pub.

His film credits include Thomas Lilti's Première année and Un métier sérieux, Olivier Baroux's Les Tuche 3, television series and films for M6, Canal + and Frances 3, and short films.

Since 2009, he has pursued his career as an Emotional and Relational Intelligence Trainer-Coach at BAKEA Développement.

In this role, Hubert Myon supports executives, managers and employees in developing empathetic and strategic relational communication to facilitate cooperation.

Hubert Myon is a well-known player on the French cultural scene, navigating between theater, cinema and television.
